Costless Admission Options
Free Days
Admission is free for everyone on the first Wednesday and third Sat of the calendar month, thanks to support from Salt Lake County Zoo, Arts and Parks (ZAP) and the Utah Division of Arts and Museums/National Endowment for the Arts. Free admission may vary for special ticketed exhibitions. Free tickets must be reserved i north advance through our ticketing page.
Museums for All
The UMFA supports Museums for All with gratis admission for those in our customs who receive food assistance. Present a Utah Horizon, EBT (Electronic Benefit Transfer), or WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) carte du jour and valid photo ID to receive gratis admission for up to 4 visitors.
Blue Star Museums
The UMFA is a Bluish Star Museum, offering free access to active-duty military personnel and their families (up to half dozen visitors) with war machine ID.
Museums on Us
The Bank of America Museums on Us program offers costless full general admission during the first total weekend (Sat and Sunday) of every month to Bank of America, Merrill, and Bank of America Private Bank credit and debit cardholders. To redeem this offering Cardholder must present their credit or debit carte—physical or electronic/digital—at the UMFA welcome desk to receive 1 gratis general admission to the UMFA.
How to Get Here
The Museum is located in the Marcia and John Price Museum Building at 410 Campus Heart Drive on the University of Utah campus, between Rice-Eccles Stadium and the Jon Thou. Huntsman Heart.
TRAX
The UMFA is easily accessed by TRAX. We are located just a five-infinitesimal walk northwest of the University South Campus stop on the University (Cherry-red) line. Plan your trip hither.
Bus
The UMFA is hands accessed by the following UTA charabanc routes: 9, 17, 213, 223, 228, 313, 354, 455, and 473. Programme your trip here.
Driving
From the southward: Travel north on I-15 and take the 600 South get out heading east. Plow north (left) on State Street and so east (right) onto 400 Southward. Caput e on 400 Southward (which becomes 500 South) to the lite at Campus Heart Drive (at 1580 E). Turn north (left) on Campus Center Drive, veering correct at the round-nigh onto South Campus Drive. Plow left at the adjacent light on to 1725 East, the Museum will exist on your left.
From the north: Travel south on I-15 and take the 400 S go out heading east. Head east on 400 S (which becomes 500 South) to the light at Campus Center Drive (at 1580 East). Turn north (left) on Campus Eye Drive, veering correct at the circular-about onto South Campus Bulldoze. Turn left at the next light on to 1725 East, the Museum will exist on your left.
From the east or the due west: Travel on I-80 to Foothill Drive. Take Foothill Drive north to Mario Capecchi Bulldoze. Turn right on Mario Capecchi Drive and left onto Southward Campus Drive. Plough correct onto 1725 Eastward, the Museum volition be on your left.
Parking
Free and pay parking is bachelor for weekday visits. Campus parking is free on weekends, except in reserved stalls where indicated.
Free Visitor Stalls
Free parking is available in the lot east of the Museum indicated with a UMFA sign. Costless parking is merely bachelor in the stalls labeled "UMFA Visitor Parking." Yous must register your license plate number at the welcome desk-bound to avert a parking commendation. If all UMFA stalls are occupied you can park in the pay lot to the north.
Pay Lot
A Academy of Utah pay lot is available just due north of the UMFA visitor lot on Campus Center Drive. Continue as the road curves to the east (the Business Loop) and await for the company pay lot on your right—exist sure to prepay at the kiosk.
Gratis Parking for Evening Events
The UMFA frequently hosts programs on Midweek nights, when the Museum is open until viii pm, and occasionally on other evenings. On those nights, museum parking is free after 6 pm in the lot e of the Museum and in the parking garage around the corner from the pay lot.

Museum Manners
Help us protect the art and ensure an enjoyable and safe visit for all. Due west east appreciate your cooperation with these simple guidelines:
- Please walk and use respectful voices in the galleries.
- Look just don't touch, oil from your fingers can harm the artwork.
- No nutrient, drink, or glue is permitted in the galleries.
- Pencils only please (no pens).
- Check backpacks, large bags, and umbrellas at the welcome desk-bound. Groups are encouraged to leave big bags at home, school, or on the omnibus.

While at the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, yous may be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded. Please let the lensman know if you do not give your consent.
Photographs taken by visitors may be used for personal, non-commercial use only and may not exist distributed. No flash photography is permitted—intense light amercement the artwork. No tripods or large photographic camera bags are permitted in galleries, beefy equipment may damage objects. Photography is not permitted for objects or galleries identified with a "No Photography" symbol. No video recording is permitted in the Museum. Y'all tin can request image reproductions of objects from the permanent collection here.

Group Tours
The UMFA offers educator- and docent-guided tours and programs. Due to limited availability, these tours are offered on a first-come, first-served basis; we kindly inquire for two weeks' advance notice in scheduling a tour. Schedule a group tour for adults here. Glaze Check and Lockers
Free coat bank check and lockers are available. Backpacks, large numberless, and umbrellas must exist checked at the welcome desk or placed in lockers.
Restrooms
Unmarried gender-neutral restrooms are located on the first floor by the temporary exhibitions gallery and on the second floor adjacent to the modern and gimmicky gallery.
Irresolute Stations
Changing stations are located on the first floor in the restroom near The Museum Café and the restroom by the ACME Lab, and on the 2nd floor in the restroom virtually the mod and gimmicky gallery.
